The network crosses the whole country, from Poppel, located on the northwest border with Netherlands, to Blaregnies, on the Southeastern border with France.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_3 fusion-builder-column-3 fusion-one-third fusion-column-last 1_3\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;width:33.33%;width:calc(33.33% - ( ( 4% ) * 0.3333 ) );'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"background-color:#edecec;padding: 20px 20px 20px 20px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"   data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-text\"><p><strong>Sector:<\/strong> oil&amp;gas<br \/>\n<strong>Year:<\/strong> 2008 &#8211; 2010<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Weelde, Belgio<br \/>\n<strong>Client: <\/strong>Fluxys<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_2_3 fusion-builder-column-4 fusion-two-third fusion-column-first 2_3\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;width:66.66%;width:calc(66.66% - ( ( 4% ) * 0.6666 ) );margin-right: 4%;'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"   data-bg-url=\"\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:31px;\"><h2 class=\"title-heading-left\" style=\"margin:0;letter-spacing:3PX;color:#4e87a0;\"><h2><strong><span style=\"color: #4e87a0;\">PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES AND SOLUTIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text\"><p>The Main contractor, who was responsible for the enlargement of the compression station, assigned the engineering of the fire extinction system to TRILLINI Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>The first part of the activity consisted in the drafting, on the client\u2019s behalf, of the technical specification detailing the requirements and the overall architecture of the different Fire &amp; Gas detection and Fire Extinguishing Systems, which could guarantee the correct level of protection against fire risks.<\/p>\n<p>The technical specification outlined the design constraints to be respected in the supply of the following systems:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fire &amp; Gas Detection;<\/li>\n<li>Fire extinguishing system in inert gas;<\/li>\n<li>Water mist fire extinguishing system;<\/li>\n<li>Water-based Fire extinguishing system.The second phase of the work consisted in:<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the customer specifications;<\/li>\n<li>Verification of the technological uniformity of the engineering solutions proposed by the vendors;<\/li>\n<li>Verification of compliance of the engineering solutions with the local regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Meetings with the supplier;<\/li>\n<li>Reports and comparison tables between the different suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>The third part, mainly at the construction site, consisted in monitoring the various activities and bringing them to completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Moreover, the engineering of the fire compartmentalization of a portion of the buildings was studied, in order to guarantee a fire resistance of 120 minutes. In particular, the fire resistance was achieved by encapsulating with insulating material all the openings intended for air intake and for accommodating the Fire &amp; Gas
