CARACULO PV POWER PLANT

GOALS

The 25 MWp photovoltaic plant in Caraculo, Angola, is the result of a joint venture between ENI and Sonagol, aimed at developing renewable energy projects. The project aims to reduce the consumption of diesel for electricity production, thereby reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. It will also contribute to the sustainable development of communities in Namibe Province through social interventions, including access to energy, water, health and education.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

Our work included the architectural, structural, HVAC and plumbing design for the office, warehouse and guardhouse premises. In addition, we were responsible for the design of the access road and the landscaping of the area surrounding the plant.
