Substations and electrical rooms are essential infrastructure in all Oil&Gas and Industrial installations. They were traditionally built on-site in reinforced concrete whereas recent market requirements are moving towards modular substations and prefabricated Local Equipment rooms thus separating the building construction yard and the final installation site.

This approach requires the supply of a building which has been fully tested and ready for installation containing electrical equipment and being equipped with auxiliary systems such as:

  • Lighting
  • Fire detection and suppression
  • Emergency pressurization system
  • HVAC
  • Telecom

During recent years, Trillini Engineering has gained wide experience in the field of Local Equipment Rooms (LER) and Modular Substations. In some projects Trillini Engineering was involved as the HVAC specialist while it carried out other projects coordinating the engineering disciplines involved (HVAC, E&I, F&G, structural and architectural engineering)
